Beni was born and brought up in Assam. I have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently working as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee in TVS Motors Company, Hosur. Ever since my childhood, I have always wanted to help others and give back to society in any way possible. Due to lack of proper guidance and exposure, never really got the chance to do it in an official manner. Finally, being in Bengaluru, having joined Proud Indian have given me the chance to do so.

Zara was born and brought up in Calcutta, India. I did my Masters in Accounts and Finance. I am currently working as a Customer Success Manager at a Uruguay based fintech startup Dlocal. I have previously worked with companies like HSBC, Salesforce and Sezzle in similar roles. I like to paint and do a lot of DIY, read and travel. I used to teach kids, volunteer and love to lend a helping hand and give back in anyway I can.

He has done his Masters in Microelectronics and VLSI from IIT Kanpur and is currently working as an Staff Engineer in Samsung Semiconductor India Research, Bangalore. He is very enthusiastic towards meeting people of different backgrounds, working alongside them and helping them. He believes people should use at least some of their resources and skills to help others in need

Imon is an MBA graduate with 2 years of experience as a production supervisor. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Technology from SMIT. She has prior volunteering experience with FMR India Ashaniketan and HOPE Foundation. She is an avid researcher, and her work has been published in Scopus Indexed Journal. Imon is a volunteer business mentor at MicroMentor and an occasional blogger.

Shilpa is a young HR working in one of the startup firms in Bangalore. Her perspective of volunteering is not decided by the team she works with but by the work she is doing. She believes that it's all about what we have done for the cause. So, according to her, volunteering should be done for a good cause, not for good impression.

A music & travel lover by nature, I try to find time for things that make me happy & content. Although a bit late in life, I'm glad to have started volunteering & the inspiration has come from the understanding that no one has made it through life without someone else's help & that there's a lot of good to do out in the world.
