What impact can a Lead Optimist create in the society?
The important thing that every leader wishes to see is the impact of his team's efforts. But, it's not just about the impact that matters; it's about a noticeable good impact which is aligned to your aim. An impact is visible over a period of time similarly as change happens slowly.
Who can apply?
An Optimist applying for the Lead Role:
- 1) Should be an enthusiast and be able to display leadership qualities.
- 2) Should be a Field optimist who has been part of at least 1-2 Proud Indian Events. The optimist is expected to have basic knowledge of basic event planning and organizing. (OR) Should be a PR Optimist with an online contribution to at least 1-2 events of Proud Indian. The optimist is expected to have a basic knowledge in media/designing/content management.
- 3) Is expected to be committed towards the project undertaken. Depending on requirements, a commitment of 6 months is required to take up the lead role.
Role Descriptions:
- 1) Overall Lead Optimist (PFA) - An opportunity to work on the overall planning & impact analysis of the PFA (People Friendly Activities) project.
- 2) Lead Optimist (PFA - Existing Project) - An opportunity to be the Event Lead for planning & organizing the PFA (People Friendly Activities) events.
- 3) Lead Optimist (PFA - Own Idea) - An opportunity to be the Event Lead who gets to implement his/her own idea (short-term or long-term events) under PFA (People Friendly Activities).
- 4) Lead Optimist (LoG) - > An opportunity to adopt a low-income community, set it up, identify challenges, resolve and finally empower the community to become self-sustained. It also includes planning and impact analysis of the LoG (Local Governance) Project.
- 5) Lead Optimist (PR - Content, Designing & Media) - An opportunity to be the face of the Organisation and lead a team of creative designers, content writers & photographers.
- 6) Lead Optimist (HR) - An opportunity to manage the entire optimist army of Proud Indian through several engagement activities, fun meet ups, outings and a lot more.
